The Night Rider - New Year's Eve 2023
Join us for an evening train with both steam and diesel haulage to see in the New Year. Our first service of the evening departs Loughborough Central at 19:15, enjoy an evening travelling through the night and into 2024.
TICKETS ARE VALID ON ANY STD CLASS SERVICES FROM 09:00 ON THE 31ST DECEMBER UNTIL 01:30 ON 1ST JANUARY 2024
We will be seeing in 2024 on the platform at Loughborough Station, before departing at 00:05 for the first round trip of the year on the Great Central Railway. We will return to Loughborough for approximately 01:10
A heritage diesel will be providing the traction at the Leicester end of the train with a steam locomotive at the Loughborough end.
Our Griddle Car will provide a bar service throughout the evening as well as pre-ordered curry options served on the 20:00 departure from Leicester North.
