Join us for our award-winning Railways at Work Gala, where we will transport you back to 1966, a pivotal year in British railway history. This year's theme, "1966 – A New Era," explores the transformative period of British Rail as it began to reinvent its image. Building upon the success of last year's HRA award-winning 1963 Beeching event, this year's gala will delve into the impact of Dr. Beeching's reshaping plan and the modernization of the railway system.
